Malene Müllertz does not merely work to sustain life—she inhabits her work. With rare dedication, she continuously evolves, refines, and reimagines her artistic language, driven by an inquisitive exploration of the possibilities inherent in clay.
Her practice often unfolds in series, drawing on the quiet poetry of everyday forms while maintaining a precise and attentive focus on the potential of shape. Triangles, circles, and spheres emerge from sketch into three-dimensional compositions, entering into carefully attuned relationships with one another. Infused with a subtle wit and an assured sensitivity to color, her works assert themselves with both clarity and independence.
