My works are a profound reflection of my belief in the beauty of life and the inevitable connection between people, nature, and the goodness inherent in existence. Through colours, forms, and narratives, I strive to capture the essence of our shared experiences and the strength we find in one another and in nature. Each brushstroke and every image tell a story, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in a world where light and shadow meet. I seek to give form to moments; to allow them to emerge in their own significance before they inevitably slip back into the whole and dissolve.
I draw and paint with the brush and I often work in many layers, where I usually build up a base with many elements. I paint with acrylic on canvas and the work is always carried out across the entire surface at once. I use the resistance of the canvas to guide my brush. I use a projector and Photoshop for sketches. At times I sketch while the projector is on—it must remain imperfect. The sketch is always only a guideline for me.
I believe that life is inherently good, though we may at times lose sight of this amidst the busyness and challenges of everyday life. My work reminds us that we are not alone on our journey. We need one another; our relationships and communities are essential to our wellbeing. In my paintings, one often encounters people in connection with nature.
Nature is often a source of inspiration for me. It is not merely a backdrop but an active participant in our lives. When we connect with nature, we can find calm and renewed energy. My works explore the symbiosis between human beings and nature, where one cannot exist without the other. I aim to convey the sense of wonder and gratitude that arises when we pause and listen to the wisdom of nature.
Although life can at times be difficult, I encourage the search for those moments where we can feel inspired and replenished. Through art, I hope to create a space for reflection, where one can rediscover inner peace and joy.
