Artist Neel Jans lives and breathes in her garden near Lejre. This space is a wellspring of experiences and impressions—an inexhaustible source of inspiration for experimentation, both horticultural and artistic.
In Garden Pieces, Jans’ invites us into a practice deeply rooted in the rhythms of nature. Her work reflects a commitment to biodiversity and climate-conscious cultivation, seeking harmony between human creativity and the living landscape.
Nature and the garden have long held a central place in Jans’ artistic universe. In this exhibition, she translates the sensory impressions of her garden into a freer, more expressive visual language, offering a world imbued with presence, intimacy, and a quiet vitality.
