Invitation to Artist Talk
Håkan Nyström
24 September, 5–7 pm, Davis Gallery
In connection with the exhibition Terra Incognita, Håkan Nyström will discuss his work with light, space and silence. Houses, roads, doors and windows emerge in precise, quiet compositions, recognisable, but displaced. The realist approach tips over into the surreal: spaces that don’t quite add up; light without a source; places you seem to know but cannot place.
The talk circles around this displacement, around the border between reality and imagination, and around painting that refuses to close on a finished story.
There will be room for questions and shared reflection.
Open to all. Registration: info@davisgallery.dk
We look forward to welcoming you.
