Invitation to an Artist Talk
You are cordially invited to an artist talk with Ásgeir Pétursson
June 16, 5–7 p.m. at Davis Gallery
In connection with the exhibition Icescapes, Icelandic photographer Ásgeir Pétursson will discuss his artistic practice and his work with ice, landscapes, climate, and change. Drawing on his experiences from Greenland and Iceland, he will offer insight into the reflections and narratives behind the works in the exhibition.
The conversation will focus on the beauty and vulnerability of nature, as well as the role of photography at the intersection of documentation, poetry, and climate awareness.
The evening invites dialogue with room for questions, thoughts, and shared reflections.
